Both the Faculty Members of Ratnagiri Sub-Centre (Mr. Sagar Sankpal and Mr. Nilesh Rokade) have successfully passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) conducted by the Appropriate Authorities of the Govt. of Maharashtra.

In 2005, Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh, Academic and Administrative Head of Ratnagiri Sub-Centre was awarded the most prestigious LEAD Fellowship (Leadership in Environment and Development). Sanjay is the first Teacher of the University of Mumbai to get such recognition (LEAD Fellow of Cohort 11).
