A minimum of 150 Chinese words will be taught along with basic information on Chinese culture. The learners shall learn to greet and to introduce themselves in Chinese Mandarin, in the Chinese way.

    OBJECTIVE:
    Imparting communication skills in Chinese Mandarin for Level 3. Teaching of intermediate level of Chinese Mandarin language to those students who have passed Level 2. A minimum of 600 Chinese words will be taught along with some basic information on Chinese culture. Chinese characters will be introduced from this level. The learners shall discuss daily academic and professional lives and manage most communication in Chinese when travelling in China.

    Imparting communication skills in Chinese Mandarin for Level 4. Teaching of higher intermediate level of Chinese Mandarin language to those students who have passed Level 3. A minimum of 1200 Chinese words will be taught along with detailed information on Chinese culture. Chinese characters will be increased largely. The learners shall gain ability to discuss on a wide range of topics and the ability to communicate fluently, with native Chinese speakers.

The learners shall be able to read Chinese newspapers and magazines, hold proper conversations, enjoy Chinese films and plays, and give a full-length speech.
